You might try using a different Email reader like Thunderbird to read Email. Hmmm, this might seem a bit off the wall but "what if" I unplug my present XP HD and then plug in the new HD and install Vista on this HD and everything will seem like the new HD is the one and only HD and install it as the primary listed as C drive, then after all is installed plug in the old drive with XP?

There is no downside to trying it. If you don't like it, merely uninstall WLM, and WM is back as before.
